Relevant skills

APEMETA and its technical staff have skills and know-how acquired in project management, with results achieved that are recognized by associates, sector, international partners and the entities with whom APEMETA collaborates in the realization of projects. Through the organization (since 1992) of several annual seminars dedicated to various aspects relevant to the business market, APEMETA has created important public spaces for discussion, debate and interaction with government entities, R&D institutions and other relevant stakeholders in the sector. Also as a training entity, APEMETA promotes annually intra and inter company training courses. The Association has also developed relevant work in collective support to the environment sector, namely by reducing information asymmetries producing various publications of free access, disseminating nationally and internationally their skills in international fairs and conferences, promoting opportunities for exchange of experiences, spaces for the consolidation of export opportunities and internationalization and also fostering young entrepreneurship by supporting the creation of new businesses. Also noteworthy is the Environment Platform Portugal (www.ambienteportugal.pt) which aims to foster synergies of companies and other Portuguese entities involved and available for cooperation and coopetition projects in environmental and related matters and the various Action Training Projects that APEMETA has promoted and that allow reaching a wide universe of companies and sectors.
